About Lindsay

Lindsay Roettger-Treptow, LCSW

Lindsay Roettger-Treptow is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Valparaiso University before receiving her Master of Social Work from Aurora University in 2017.

Lindsay began her career working with at-risk children, youth, and families through foster care and early childhood intervention, where she developed a strong foundation in supporting individuals through complex life experiences. Since transitioning to outpatient therapy, she has had the privilege of working with clients ages 5 through 65, helping them address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and stress.

She is committed to providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where all individuals feel respected, supported, and valued.

Lindsay believes that every person has the capacity for growth and healing when they feel genuinely heard and understood. She takes a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach to therapy, recognizing that each person's experiences, strengths, and goals are unique.

Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each client's individual needs and may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy techniques, strengths-based interventions, mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches.

Whether working with a young child learning to manage big emotions, a teenager navigating life's transitions, or an adult seeking greater balance and resilience, Lindsay strives to meet each client where they are and help them move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of the therapy office, Lindsay enjoys spending time gardening, reading, and being with animals. She believes that healing often comes through connection, curiosity, and finding joy in life's simple moments — values that she brings into her work with every client.
